Hey, have you ever played any games in the Tycoon series? Raildroad Tycoon? Theme Park Tycoon? Roller Coaster Tycoon? The list goes on and on. Now, they’ve come out with an iPhone Tycoon game called Lemonade Tycoon, and it looks just as promising and addictive as it’s predecessors.
Release Date: May 13th, 2009 (Version 1.5)

The concept of the game is the same as the previous ones in the Tycoon series. Essentially, you are in charge of building your own lemonade empire. You start out with a simple little lemonade stand and work from there. You can upgrade your equipment, your location, buy new supplies, change the recipes, hire additional salesmen, expand your business, and run marketing campaigns. The game is surprisingly full of strategy for a mobile game and fun to play for hours.
One of the game’s strongest features is how it splits up each day. What annoyed me about other Tycoon games was that time was uncontrollable, that is, sometimes days would pass when you didn’t want them to or weren’t ready to handle them. Lemonade Tycoon gets around that problem. It stops after each day, where you can completely revamp your strategy as needed.
Another small, albeit nice feature, is that it has full compatibility with your iPhone’s music. If you don’t like the default Lemonade Tycoon sound, you can surn off the game music and play what’s stored on your iPhone for background music. This allows for a great amount of customization that some games simply lack. Definitely iWorth It!!
The loading screen. When I saw the professional-looking loading screen, I knew the game was going to be high quality. Let that be a lesson to all iPhone developers!!
This is the main menu each day. Notice how you can change just about anything each day, which makes for a very dynamic game, as you have to constantly adapt your strategy to fit the place, news, and temperature.
You can see my lemonade stand at “The Park” right now. There are loads of different places you can go to to sell your lemonade.
