The Asterock iPhone App by Andesite Studios is a shooting game for the iPhone with very unique controls. The object of the game is to shoot the asteroids and collect points. To move your space ship press on the display screen while moving your finger in the direction that you want to go. If you get to the edge of the screen, the rocket ship will appear on the other side. To shoot simply tap on the display screen on the object that you want to hit. Once you have completed a level a planet will appear in the middle of the screen, simply fly to it to complete the level.

There are several different weapons, heath boosters, extra points and power ups that you can get, all you need to do is fly into them to collect them. The controls definitely take some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it the game is pretty fun to play and can get quite addicting. The graphics in the background are pretty cool and the actual game objects have a 3D look to them.

Overall, if you like shooting games then you should definitely check this game out. After about 5 minutes or so of playing this game you will get the hang of the controls and appreciate the uniqueness of them. It really makes the game fun to play.
